Let’s get right to it – a solid search engine ranking is not going to happen overnight.

Search engines are becoming more and more intelligent every day. While flooding the internet with backlinks used to be and is still somewhat the best way to promote a site, too much can cause the site to lose ranking because the links are registered as spam by the search engine programming. Once a site is flagged as a spamming site, it will be lost in the search engine abyss forever.

Search Engine ranking takes time, skill and a dedication on your part. You might think an hour in the sack a week is great at home, by try spending that much time on your relationship with search engines and you will see how fast you are passed on by.

Commitment, eeks…yes the C word.

This is what it will take. The good news is that this is a relationship you can share with us! We will take the time and provide the love that your site deserves (and the search engines expect) so that you can steadily move up the ranks and reach that position that many will never know.

Now don’t let these SEO ‘Gurus’ fool you. You can learn most of what you need to know about SEO online…for free!

You can learn how to build a house or car online for free as well. I know that is a stretch, but lets consider one thing. If you are going to spend the time needed to learn these SEO tips and tricks and then dedicate the time it takes to apply them, and then take the time to maintain this process, what will become of your primary business?

You have heard that content is king, well actually keyword-rich content is king. What good is creating the greatest content in the world and offer the best services online if nobody can find it. If your home based internet marketing business is going to be successful, you’ve got to be seen. And in order to be seen you must have keyword-rich content to drive traffic to your site!

Keyword research doesn’t mean guessing which keywords sound good or that you think will rank high in the search engines. Successful internet marketing businesses know keyword research is a must.

Use Your Keyword In Your Domain

If possible, purchase a domain name that incorporates one of your profitable keywords. This usually costs less than $10 a year and will boost your rankings in the search engines enormously.

Backlinks Are The Life Blood Of Your Site

Don’t just take my word for it. Ask anybody who’s running a successful home based internet marketing business. Without backlinks, your site doesn’t exist. So why are backlinks important, and how do you get them?

When the search engines see a link from a site to your site, they count that as a vote for your site. If you have many backlinks, then the search engines see your site as an important one. They then rank your site higher in the listings.

So how do you get backlinks? There are several ways, actually. One of the most popular is to write articles, submit them to article submission sites while including a link to your site in the author resource box. Write enough of these, and you’ll have an abundance of quality backlinks to your site.

Another way is to bookmark your site. There are hundreds of social bookmarking sites online, many of whom have a very high page ranking. By the way, the higher the page rank, the more valuable the link coming from that page.

These are just a few ideas to keep in mind when marketing your home based internet marketing business. They’re not difficult, but ignoring them might just mean failure.

The old saying still holds true. Content is king. But having the wrong content can easily de-thrown you!

Network Marketing Success

Network marketing is not a sales business; it is relationship marketing.

Unfortunately, most network marketing companies fail to teach these basics in training, and their distributors are left struggling. First, you must understand yourself and your patterns of thinking.
Second, for success in prospecting, especially long distance, you must be able to spot your prospect’s business needs and present them with a value proporsition.

Third, you must understand that your prospects’ patterns of thinking may be completely different than yours. Your network marketing success depends upon your understanding your potential clients needs and how they see business challenges that you can provide solutions for.

MLM Success depends on your ability to understand others.

Put yourself at the back of the priority line. The sooner that you learn that the success of you MLM prospecting and business is not about you the more rapidly you will be successful. Forget about your check, forget about your bonus and forget about your climbing in rank. The way that you will have all of these things work is to make it work for your team, that is the way network marketing is planned.

When you are network marketing prospecting, put out of your mind the business and just build rapport. Just talk to your prospects about what they want to talk about. You would be amazed how well this works and how easy it is once you get away from you self-centered interests.

When you do this you will find that the prospect will inform you everything that you need to know to help them later. In the process of building this rapport though, they are getting to know and like you, and that is invaluable.

Listen, listen and listen. Don’t be so eager to talk.

Instead of making your marketing about the business, focus on the prospects. This will get you much further with an online business than ranting about how good your product is and what it can do. Mentioning what you do and what you promote is important,but focus on how the prospect can benefit from your product more.

Once you understand the Network Marketing, Multi Level Marketing and Affiliate Marketing are all truly relationship driven you will begin to grow your MLM business and provide value to others.

6 critical tips for staying focused and razor sharp when starting your home business

1. Break It Down:

If you have a large task to tackle, it is always easier when you break it down into smaller components. You’ll find it easier to focus because you won’t feel as overwhelmed. For example, ‘Register a domain name’ can be broken down into: ‘Think of five domain name ideas’, ’search if the domain name is available’, ‘purchase the domain name’ and so on.

2. Keep A ‘To Do’ List:

Once you’ve broken down major tasks into smaller ones, make and keep a ‘to do’ list. If you find you are not completing the tasks you have set out to do you need to figure out why, and then correct it.

3. Schedule Your Time:

Every evening, decide on three to five tasks on your ‘to do’ list that you wish to accomplish the following day or week. Stay focused on these tasks and only move on to the next tasks on your list once the previous one was completed.

4. Set Goals:

This is critical. There is nothing that will keep you more focused than setting goals and writing out your goals. Visualize exactly where you want to be in a month, six months and a year.

In a month’s time, do you want to have registered a business name and have a fully functional home office set up? In three months time, how many clients or team members do you want? How much revenue do you want to generate in a six month’s time?

5. Say No:

Be assertive and carve out more time for your home business. Saying ‘no’ to that extra demand by your boss every once in a while can get you home one hour earlier a couple of days a week.

How about watching less TV? Thats a BIG time zapper. Imagine how you could channel that extra time into your home business.

6. Keep a Buiness Mind Set

You do not need any business to totally consume your life, however, staying constantly in a Business Mind Set will keep you aware of business opportunities. This is can greatly increase your earning potential as you will constantly indentify new prospects and potential partners that will help expand your business.

You never know when a great new business opportunity will present itself to you!
