Recent purchase of TenTier.com
Ten Tier
So it has been a long time coming, but we have just purchased the domain name TenTier.com
The price dropped on this domain name and because there is always a chance that those that hear about 10Tier.com might easily get confused and spell our TenTier.com we thought it was time to pull the trigger on this domain name purchase! For those that are curious we paid $299 for this domain name. We consider it well spent money for the convenience and ‘lookup’ ability based upon the alternative spelling web searchers might type.
We have no plans to build out this domain into its own website, however internally there are some discussions on whether to just forward the domain name to 10Tier.com or have a landing page with some company info and links to our website…the majority feels it is best to just forward TenTier.com to 10Tier.com
Either way we are really excited to have had the chance to purchase this domain name at this great price (over the years the domain name was listed for alot more).
Many people wonder if they need to buy alternate versions of their domain name, and many times they are thinking along the lines of buying up the .net, .info, .biz, .org, etc…but in our case we felt it was most important to also own the alpha version of the numeric characters in our companies domain name.
